Ace Hotel, Sydney

Marques Interior Services were appointed to provide comprehensive turnkey procurement services for FF&E including sourcing vintage furniture and accessories and retail items and OSE for all guestrooms and suites, public areas and back of house facilities. Collaborating closely with the client, operator, Hickory and the design team at Flack Studio’s as well as numerous suppliers, artists and makers, our scope extended from initial budget to final placement. Navigating through the challenges posed by the global pandemic, with key stakeholders dispersed across various time zones and subjected to local and interstate lockdowns, we played a vital role in coordinating and facilitating the procurement process.  Our efforts were instrumental in delivering Australia’s inaugural Ace Hotel to Sydney.  Built on the historic site of the Tyne House brick factory, the hotel comprises of 264 guestrooms and suites, a café, bar, sunken lounge, gym, conferencing and meeting rooms and rooftop signature restaurant - KILN.
